Where does the time go???

Hi there,
Here we are beginning week 7 of the Heart Challenge. I am really enjoying the challenge and I am really starting to feel better and have more energy! I have the best trainer in the whole world!!! Jessica is amazing! She is patient, creative in our workouts, kind, and tough! We started planks 3 weeks ago and I was only able to stay up for 20 seconds. End of last week, (3rd week) I am up to 1 minute and 30 seconds!!! It is fun to see the progress of me getting stronger each week. I still find it hard to find the time to workout but I do love it when I get there. I am averaging 4-5 times per week. I also love the weekly classes. Mindy is amazing too! I love the topics that we cover. Last Thursday, we learned about fruits and vegetables. Who knew that they were so important??? Thanks Mindy for opening my eyes to the truths about nutrition. You are the best! :-)

Here we go!

My name is LaShelle Draper. I am very excited to be able to participate in this years 100 day Heart Challenge! I have an awesome husband, Brian, who is very supportive of this new lifestyle that I am trying to learn. The hardest part of the Challenge for me is to find the time to work out. I have a wonderful trainer, Jessica, who works with me and helps me find fun ways to get in shape. I love the Nutrition classes that we attend every week. I am making better food choices because of it. I have lost 11 pounds in the first 3 weeks and my pants are feeling a bit baggy! :-)
